Technology Integration in Special Education

Hi and Welcome!

Are you in the field of Special Education?  Are you looking for ways to incorporate technology into your classroom or maybe just need help with the existing technology you have available?  If so, you are in the right place and we are here to help.

Who we are:  Technology Integration in Special Education (TISE).  We act as a liaison between the district's Technology Department and Special Education Department.  The point of contact for this program is Jewell Wright.

What we do:  We assist special educators with Assistive Technology (AT), hardware, software, equipment, services, training, and implementation in efforts to integrate technology into classrooms serving students with disabilities. 

Why we do it:  For our students!  We want our special education teachers to be trained and confident in using technology in their classrooms to better meet the needs of our exceptional students.
